Earlier this week the kids had a day off of school. We took a tour of the Mrs. Fields Cookie Factory. The kids were impressed with the big ovens and huge freezer. The tour took us through the bakery, assembly area, and shipping deck. The dough is made in California and then is shipped to SLC to be baked, packaged and shipped out. They deliver as many as 35,000 packages in a single day. At the end of the tour we each got a free cookie.

Free Mrs. Fields cookie! Definitely putting that on my list of fun things to do when in Utah. (And the girls say "We miss you so much! Come back really soon!" With an added "I love you very much" from Lily.)
Made in California and then shipped to Utah to be baked and shipped out again? Interesting.
I never would have thought of a trip to Mrs. Fields. You're such a active mom, I love it!
