Summers Farm Adventure

A few weekends ago we took the kids to Summers Farm in Frederick, Md. It is a one hour drive away from where we live. It was a beautiful day and we all had a lot of fun.

There were lots of activities for the kids. They had slides, an apple cannon, a jumping pillow, a playground, a rubber duck derby, a few mazes, pedal cars, a pumpkin train, and a corn pit. The kids were in heaven running from one activity to the next.

We watched some pig races, fed goats, and saw chickens, sheep, pigs, a miniature horse, and a few other animals.

We went through this Redskins corn maze.

Before we left we took a hayride to a pumpkin patch. Kaden had fun looking for the perfect pumpkin. I think this was his favorite part of the day. We also enjoyed a picnic lunch and tried their apple cider donuts, they were delicious!! This was the best fall festival/farm place we have been to.

How fun! Jake is so jealous, he really wanted to go to the Redskin's corn maze.

What an awesome place!!! I love that, even with all the changes going on in your lives right now, you're still making time to do such fun things.

Oh how I love wonderful fall days, and this one looks absolutely perfect! We went to a pumkpin patch that looks pretty similar to that one. It was great, but with three kids and no husband, I didn't get one picutre! Kaden and Kaylee looks like they had a great time.

Love the halloween costumes. How funny is Kaylee to be so excited for the trick-or-treaters to come. Good things she doesn't live where we do...we never get ANY!

Luckily you have an active blog so we can keep checking in with you guys... so glad to see you guys taking the time to enjoy autumn. Of all the states we've lived in, Maryland is the one we miss the most. Please tell Geoff we said hi. Congrats and good luck with everything!
