Halloween Festivities

This year we let the kids design their own pumpkins and then we helped carve them out. We also made caramel apples.

Our ward had a Fall Festival and Truck-or-Treat. The kids had fun playing games and playing with their friends.

We took the kids to the Kidgit's Club Halloween Bash at the mall. They played some games, got some goodie bags, and went trick-or-treating to the stores. Kaden told us he wasn't feeling well. When we got home Geoff took him to an instacare and they diagnosed him with strep throat.

Our school doesn't let the kids dress up in costumes for Halloween. Instead they had a clash day and told the kids to come to school mismatched. Kaylee was chosen to be student of the week and was given the class pumpkin to bring home. She was very excited about that.

Kaylee was excited to pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters this year. She couldn't wait for them to come. When she saw the first few across the street she started yelling out the window for them to come to our house. She kept referring to them as her customers.

I loved seeing your Halloween fun. It was also fun to see Kaylee's student of the week. Hope Kaden is feeling better. Love, Grandma Dew
