NASA Goddard Visitor Center

We met up with some of our friends at the NASA Goddard Flight Center Visitor Center.

The kids got to sit inside of a Gemini capsule model and try on space suits.

I thought Kaylee looked cute dressed up in this space suit.

I love Kaylee's friend, she always has the best poses. :)

Here is a picture of Kaden in space.

Here is Kaylee with a four billion year old moon rock.

The kids thought the plasma exhibit was cool.

After spending some time inside of the visitors center we headed outside for a picnic lunch. I asked Kaden to make the sandwiches. He wrote our names on the bags with a sweet message. This was the highlight of my day.

We took a group picture of the kids. Aren't they all so cute?

Here they are in front of the Apollo Mock-Up. The Apollo three man spacecraft successfully carried United States astronauts to the moon and back on six separate missions.

The kids had fun running around outside with their friends. It was another very humid day though. We are looking forward to the fall and cooler weather.

Oh, I love that note from Kaden. What a special kid. His mom must be doing a wonderful job of raising him!

I still think that the note from Kaden is the sweetest thing ever. I was wondering if he learned that from you. :)
