Space Derby Champ!

I have been meaning to post about this for awhile. Kaden won 1st place in his first scout space derby. I don't think I have ever seen him more excited about anything else. He couldn't eat the refreshments because he was so nervous before the last two rounds. Geoff said his hand was shaking when he put his rocket up for the last race. On the way home Kaden explained to us that this trophy was the first trophy he has won on his own. His sports trophies aren't as special because everyone gets one just for participating. The next morning when I went into his room to check on him he was sitting in bed staring at his trophy. He also brought it down to breakfast and continued to stare at it while eating breakfast. We were so happy for him.
