Easter Fun!!!

We hope you all had a fun Easter. We had a lot of fun this year. We had an Easter egg hunt on the beach for the kids. The Easter Bunny also always hides their colored eggs and leaves clues to where he hid their Easter baskets. This year Kaden was able to read all of the clues to Kaylee. I also tried a different cake this Easter. I usually make the bunny cake but this year I tried out an Easter basket cake. Darin and Haylee (Geoff's brother and his wife) were visiting from Utah. It was so nice to have family here for a holiday. It couldn't have been any better.

I have never heard of an Easter egg hunt on the beach, and we lived in San Diego for 18 years! What fun!

I am going to have to stop looking at your blog because it is making me feel like a bad mother! You do such great things for Kaden and Kayle, they are really lucky to have you for a mom.

That is a great picture with the Easter bunny. Those baskets are huge. I bet they loved them. Looks like a fun Easter was had at your home.

Easter and swim suits. I don't think I've ever thought about that before. But an egg hunt on the beach sounds wonderful. We went to one at the library, and after being outside for just a few minutes Carson's hands were freezing from the cold. Oh, well. he had a great time anyway.

Wow Jadi -- I had to take a closer look at the cake as I first thought it was an actual basket -- great job and so creative. Sounds like a wonderful Easter!
