Spring Break and a Birthday Party

We wanted to go to Arizona to be with Geoff over Spring break but we decided that since we would be moving down there two weeks later that it would be best to wait.  We ended up having a great week and were able to spend some quality time with our good friends and relatives.  One day we went on a tour of the Sweets Candy Factory with my mom, my sister-in-law, Kamisha and my niece Kairi.  The factory is huge.  We enjoyed the tour and even got some free samples.

At the end of the tour we each picked out a treat in the gift shop.  Kaden filled his bag with banana flavored taffy, Kaylee picked out sour sugar coated gummy worms and I bought a box of chocolate covered almond clusters.  It was a fun tour and it is free so if you live in Utah you should schedule one!

My brother and sister-in-law have a fun park by their house with a zip line.  The kids have been begging to go to it so on the way home we stopped and let them take turns on the zip line.

We had a cousin sleepover one night.  My mom took us swimming at the Lehi Rec Center and then we went home and watched Tangled on their living room wall with their movie projector.  Thanks for a fun evening, Mom!  In the morning my dad made us a nice hot breakfast and then he took us to Jungle Jims.

This was our first visit to Jungle Jims and the kids loved it!  The girls had fun going on all of the rides.  The boys decided they were too old for the kiddie rides so my dad bought them tokens to play the games.  They won lots of tickets and Kaden picked out a slinky with his tickets.

We had pizza for lunch.  Thanks for the fun day, Dad!

One day we went to Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove.  It is a big park made out of wood.  It was the warmest day of the week so the park was crowded but the kids still had fun and keep asking to go back.

I decided to have Kaylee's birthday party before we moved so she could celebrate it with her friends.  My friend, Esther hosted the cutest baking party for her daughter.  I fell in love with it and she agreed to let me copy her. :)  Thanks, Esther!! Due to Spring break we only had two guests that were able to attend so will be having another baking party/play date before we move with a few others that were out of town.

Here is Kaylee with her best friend, Sara.  The girls decorated chef hats and each got an apron.

They baked and decorated cupcakes and dipped strawberries and pretzel rods in chocolate.

They giggled through the whole party. :)  They were so much fun.

Kaylee got this Tangled doll from her friend Sara and loves it.  She carries it everywhere she goes and loves to brush her hair.  It was a fun week!

Jungle Jims sounds an awful lot like Chuckie Cheese...looks like you had a fun time. Good luck with the move.

Souns like the spring break week I wish my kids had. Instead I had to work all week! It has been so fun having you guys here in Utah for the last few months. We love to see you and Luke can't stop talking about Kaden, and of course nice Aunt Jadi. I know you will have a great time in Arizona, and hopefully we can make it there to visit soon!

What a fun party. I hope you post the details on your other blog. Ava wants a baking party too when she has her birthday in July. Good luck with the move.
