Kaden's 9th Birthday Party

We found out we were going to be moving right after we planned Kaden's 9th birthday party. Due to having to pack and plan the move I wasn't able to do everything I wanted to for his party. I still had a lot of fun planning it and Kaden loved it.

It was almost impossible to get 9 eight and nine year olds to hold still for a picture. It ended up turning into a big wrestling match.

I made the party invitation in paint shop pro.

Here is a picture of the table and place settings.

I filled the goodie bags with a Lego toy, candy building blocks, a fun dip and a Lego magazine.

We let the kids play with Legos until everyone arrived. We had them each build their own Lego Racer to race down the table. The winner won a prize and everyone else got to keep their racecar.

This was a great activity for the boys. It kept them quiet and busy. :)

We played a game where they had to put Lego pieces on their plates with straws. The one with the most Lego's after one minute won a prize. They asked to play this game two or three times.

We played Lego Creationary. The kids took turns trying to get the players to guess what they were building. The player with the most points won a prize.

We played Lego toss and gave each child 10 Lego's to throw. The player with the most points won a prize. I also had the kids guess how many Lego's were in the jar. The one with the closest guest won a prize.

Here is Kaden with his best friend Jason (In the striped shirt) and his twin brother, Hunter.

I couldn't believe how many gifts Kaden got. Usually I limit the number of guests but Geoff wanted Kaden to have all of his best friends from school and church there for his last big hurrah!

Hang on, you weren't able to do all that you wanted to do for Kaden'd party? Yikes. That was all pretty amazing... remind me never to let my kids see pics of your kids' bday parties ;) Nice job supermom!

You are amazing! Really, you should go into business. I wish I had the party queen herself here as I start to plan Evelyn's birthday. Miss you!
