Kaden and Kaylee finished their swim lessons today. This is the first time we have put the kids in swim lessons since Kaden was three or four years old. They both did great but they are still behind for their ages. Next summer we might have to put them in two classes to catch up. They both enjoyed them though and did well. They were excited to get their certificates and lollipops.

I'm glad the kids did well. Is there a certain age that kids should know how to swim by? I was thinking of putting Isaac in swim lessons, but it didn't really work out here.
Kristin,
It seems like most people start putting their kids in lessons around 3 or 4 years old. Kaylee was in the beginning class and she was probably the oldest one. There were kids younger then her in Kaden's class. It seemed like there were 5 or 6 different levels.
Such a cute picture of the kids.
I just started putting Avery in swim lessons this summer as well because she loves the water so much. She goes to lessons Mon,Wed,Fri and it's a lot of shuttling for me but since she loves it so much I'm all for it. I would love to say Avery is learning a ton but at her age it seems like she spends most of the time underwater because she likes to jump in and search for stuff on the bottom of the pool. She's a nutjob.
