Larriland Farm

We recently visited Larriland Farm in Woodbine, MD. It is a pick-your-own farm market. They had strawberries, red raspberries, black raspberries, peas, spinach, and sweet cherries. I am hoping to go back in the fall to pick apples.

We started out in the strawberry patch.

Even though it was towards the end of the strawberry season there was still a good selection.

We ended up picking 8 1/2 pounds of strawberries. We made two batches of jam, strawberry shortcake, and homemade strawberry and banana ice cream.

After picking strawberries we moved on to the raspberry section.

Kaylee said she liked picking the raspberries the most.

We picked 6 pounds of red raspberries. We made three batches of raspberry jam and still had to some to spare. We all had a lot of fun. I think this will be a new tradition in our family.
