My brothers and their families are in town visiting. Over the weekend we went to Philadelphia and Hershey. We took a tour of Independence Hall. This was our second time visiting Philadelphia and going on this tour. I loved it just as much the second time.

We saw the Liberty Bell.

We walked around the historic district of Philadelphia and saw some really cool buildings. The kids LOVED getting to hang out with their cousins.
We walked by the building filmed in the Ghostbuster movie.
We stopped by Benjamin Franklin's burial place.
We stopped by the Philadelphia Museum of Art to get pictures with the Rocky statue.
We also had to run up the steps just like Rocky did! :)
We stopped by Gino's for some Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, YUM!!!
I think this was one of the highlights of the day for Brandon.
There were lots of Phillies mascot statues around town. Here are the kids posing with one in the Independence Hall Visitors Center.
I think the highlight of the day for the kids was getting to go swimming at the hotel.

Philly is a fun place. We have seen that Cheese steak place on the food network...jealous, we are!!
That looks like so much fun!! It makes me want to come out and visit even more!! I am glad that your family could come visit! I bet they had a great time!
So cool to see you guys at those places. I just imagined us there with you again. Miss you guys a ton.
I would have LOVED to visit Philly. If for no other reason than to heckle the Phillie fans. :)

How fun to have your family come and visit! There are so many AMAZING things to see and places to visit right around you. I really hope that sometime before you move we can come and visit them with you.
