Kaden gave me this mug to have hot chocolate in on Christmas Eve.
Kaylee gave me a wedding cake candle so that I could blow out a candle and make a wish whenever I wanted to. We have taken several turns singing Happy Birthday to each other and blowing out the candle.
Kaden gave Kaylee this piggy bank. Kaylee was very excited to get it. Yesterday we were at the dollar store so I let the kids pick out a few more gifts to give. I didn't see what they were picking because they were hiding the gifts in a basket with their coats over them. When we got to the check out stand I noticed that Kaden had picked out another pink piggy bank. I reminded him that he had just given Kaylee that same gift and suggested that he put it back. He looked like he was going to cry and said that Kaylee loved it so much that he wanted to give her another one. After seeing how important it was to him I decided to let him go ahead and get it. So now Kaylee will have two pink piggy banks.
Last Sunday my family celebrated my birthday. I was touched by the amount of thought that they put into it. The first gift they gave me was a pair of pajamas. I was told to go change into my pajamas. The kids already had theirs on. Then I was given lotions, incense, a nice make-up kit, soft socks, a cute snowman full of Christmas treats from Kaden and a cute Santa and Mrs. Claus salt and pepper shaker set from Kaylee. I felt very pampered. Thank you Geoff!!!

What a fun tradition! I'm so sorry--I didn't realize it was your birthday! I don't think I have a list of all the YW leaders with their birthdays. Hope you had a great birthday!!! What day is it so I can know for next year?

Isn't it nice to see your children put so much thought into what they want to give each other. Last year Luke's school had a Christmas Shop that the kids could go to and buy presents. I sent him with a little money for everyone and it brought tears to my eyes to see the gifts he had chosen. So well thought out and meaningful. It is really nice to have those experiences. Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I was thinking about you all day on Friday when I would glance at my calendar and see "Jadi" written on the 19th. I am glad that you had a wonderful day.
