More Halloween Fun

This year we took our kids trick or treating with our good friend's the Browns. We decided that town house trick or treating is the way to go! We only had to walk a few feet from one door to the next.

Kaylee started to get tired of all of the stairs. At first she said she would only go to the houses where people were sitting at the bottom of the stairs. Later she informed us she would only take candy from women. They filled their buckets full. Geoff tried to convince them to dump their candy in the car and keep going but they were finished. Probably because they were the ones walking up and down all of the stairs. :)

Here is a picture of the Halloween buckets that we made. This was the second time they filled them this year. They also came home from the trunk or treat with them full! Needless to say we have way too much candy.

Sleeping Beauty with her Halloween candy.

The Wizard with his Halloween candy.

A picture of the Oreo spiders we made.

Here is a picture of the Nutter Butter Ghosts that Kaylee and I made for a Halloween party.

I bought this cardboard Haunted House for Kaylee's preschool Halloween party. After eight kids taking turns coloring it there is still a lot left to color. I think I could keep this and pull it out every year. It could take five Halloween's to finally finish it! :)

I had a Halloween party for Kaylee's preschool group. We colored the cardboard haunted house, decorated cupcakes, decorated trick or treating bags and went trick or treating to the moms, played pass the pumpkin and a board game called Monster under my bed. Kaylee and I had a lot of fun preparing and decorating for the party.

Kaylee was invited to a friend's Halloween party. They played pin the nose on the pumpkin and made these cute witch puppets. They also had a lot of yummy food.

Loved their costumes. Very cute. What program do you use to make your header? I really need a new one.

Amy,

I use Corel Paint Shop for my blogs and digital scrapbooking pages. I love it. It is very similar to Photoshop Elements. You can also download free digital scrapbook kits online to use to design your own blog header.

Your kids are so cute. I remember dumping all my Halloween candy on the floor and sorting through it. So fun.

So funny that Kaylee was getting picky about who she would take candy from. And even with her restrictions, she made out pretty well! Glad you guys had such a fun Halloween. And thanks again for an AWESOME preschool party!!!

Wow, what a haul Kaylee got! I would say that townhouse trick-or-treating is the way to go; it took me 2 hours to drive my kids to about 20 houses. Nothing like trick-or-treating in the country! I love all the fun Halloween treats you guys made. You are such a good little mommy.

You always do such fun things! Your kids' costumes are great. They look so big. I'm curious, though. What are you going to do with all of that candy! It looks like the kids had a blast.

Tonya,

We are probably going to end up throwing most of the candy away! :)
