Tri-Ward Halloween Party

The kids showing off their costumes on the catwalk.

After Kaylee saw the pirate handing out candy she told us she was no longer Snow White and began talking like a pirate for the rest of the night. :)

Last Saturday we attended our tri-ward Halloween party/Trunk or Treat. It was so much fun! They had a spook alley, the mummy wrap game, a cupcake walk, face painting, a ring toss, a fishing pond, popcorn, and a donut eating contest. After the party we went outside for the Trunk or Treat. Our kids had a great time! I took a lot of pictures but accidentally ended up deleting at least half of them. Kaden was Stitch again and Kaylee was Snow White this year. Geoff convinced Kaden that he should be Stitch again since last year we were in Florida and nobody here had seen him in that costume. Kaden thought that was a great idea and it saved us having to buy another costume. :)

Looks like a lot of fun at that place.

Wish I could have heard Kaylee talking like a pirate. :) I'll have to go through my pictures and see if I have any good ones of your family to send your way. That's the one danger about digital cameras....

Looks like a fun ward activity - good idea on Kaden's costume too! Great way to save money!

I could totally imagine Kaylee talking like a pirate...that is what makes her so great.

I love the picture you got of your kids together on the catwalk. We had fun hanging out with you guys at the party.

I love trunk-or-treats! Our ward in Las Vegas always did it, and it was so fun. The kids look great, and it is good that they get to use their costumes more than just once on Halloween. Maybe for Halloween you will have to get Kaylee a pirate costume!

You know, I've always dogged on Trunk or Treat, always thought it took away from the fun of walking house to house. And I was always jealous that no kids ever came to my house on Halloween. But they actually sound like the kids have a more enjoyable time.
Your kids sure do look super cute in their customs! And I would have loved to hear Snow White walking around talking like a pirate! Priceless!
