We love to check out movies and books from the library. This week we checked out a book called Hedgehog bakes a cake. It is a story about a Hedgehog who decides to bake a cake. All of his friends stop by and want to help. They end up making a big mess out of the cake batter. When they leave Hedgehog throws away the cake batter and pulls out his recipe book. He bakes a yummy yellow cake. When his friends return they have a tea party and eat the cake that they think they helped make. At the end of the book Hedgehog shares the recipe for his yummy yellow cake. This afternoon I let my kids make Hedgehog's cake. After the cake cooled down we had a tea party and ate the cake. My kids thought this was fun.

What a fun afternoon. I bet the kids loved it. When does Kaden start school? It must be getting close. I always take a look at your cooking blog and I can't wait to try some of the recipes.
