The community we moved into has a mom's club. They have play groups, go on field trips and have a mom's night out each month. Today we went on our first field trip with the group to the College Park Aviation Museum. The kids loved it! They got to listen to a story, sit in an airplane, make a craft, try on clothes, play in the hands on room to learn about aviation, play in wooden push airplanes and have a picnic. I can already tell we are going to love living here. There is so much to do and see.

I'm so glad you made it to Maryland safely...and that you are enjoying it there. That's important! You do so many fun things with your kids...I really admire that about you. {When} we have kids, I will return to your blog often for fun ideas of things to do with the kiddos. You are such a cute mom and your kids are so lucky to have you!! How is Geoff liking his new job? Hopefully he is enjoying it:) I wish you guys the best of luck with everything. Hopefully sometime we can make it up there for a visit :)

That is one place to put on my list of things we want to do when we visit out there someday.
It sounds like you are really going to enjoy yourself in Maryland.. Getting together with other moms and kids is such a good way to have fun and make friends. I love living by my family because I have instant friends, but I still miss the friends and associations I had with other moms that we had in Vegas. The kids look like they had such a good time on the field trip.
