Dew Family Disney World Vacation
We just got back from our week long family vacation with Jadi's side of the family. We had so much fun!!! We loved spending time with family. It was our first time seeing them since we moved to Florida last fall. We also got to see our niece Kairi for the first time in person and we were all in love with her. The kids loved hanging out with their cousins and spending time with their aunts, uncles and grandparents.
This year is the year of a million dreams at Disney World. We got lucky and all won lanyards that came with two Disney trading pins. I also won a free Mcflurry from McDonald's.
This time we stayed at the Music value resort. In the evenings they played movies on a big screen out by the swimming pool.
My mom and I took Kaylee and my niece Brooklyn to the Princess Storybook breakfast for Kaylee's birthday party. Her birthday is this coming Saturday the 17th but we decided to celebrate it a week earlier at Disney World. It was so much fun! The girls were in heaven. We got into Epcot before the park opened. They had princess music playing in the park. When we arrived at the restaurant they took the girls picture with Belle. During the breakfast the Little Mermaid, Mulan, Marry Poppins and Snow White stopped by our table to visit with us, sign autographs and have pictures taken with the girls. After the breakfast they brought out a birthday cake and a birthday card that was signed by all of the princesses. The girls giggled all through the breakfast. I don't think I have ever seen Kaylee more excited.
This trip we were also able to try out some of the nicer restaurants. We ate at the Animal Kingdom's Lodge, the Fort Wilderness Lodge, the LeCellier Steakhouse and the Mexican restaurant at Epcot. Geoff's favorite restaurant was the Mexican one and mine was the steakhouse.
We also got to go to Blizzard Beach for the first time. I forgot my camera so I wasn't able to get any pictures of that day. We did buy a season pass to the water parks since it was only a little more then buying a one day pass so we will be going back before we move! :)
It was hard to say goodbye to everyone. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get to see them again. Now we just need to figure out a way to get the Gunnerson side out here or to DC! :)
Geoff has finished all of his classes for the LLM program. Once he finishes his paper he will be done with school forever!!! :) We are planning on moving to the DC area the end of June. We have fallen in love with Florida so it will be hard to leave. However, we are looking forward to the new adventures that DC will bring. We will be going down to look for a place sometime in the next few weeks. Wish us luck!

Looks like fun. It's great that you are really utilizing your time out there.
Wow! What a fun trip! As I was watching the slideshow I got a little teary-eyed, maybe it's because I wish we could've been there, or maybe it's the music that was playing. I don't know but it seems like such a fun trip! And congrats to Geoff on finishing school, YAY!
Oh, man I so wish I went with you! It looked like you had so much fun! I'm totally jealous that you got to met Sleeping Beauty!-she's my favorite! And how cute is that that the girls were dressed like them! You guys have all the fun!:(
Congratulations Geoff on finishing school forever! That's really exciting! Good luck with house hunting and moving! Yay for new adventures!
Is this a new back ground? It's cute!
School's finally over. Doesn't it seem hard to believe. I can tell you guys had a wonderful time this last year in Florida, but I know that you will find many wonderful things to do in D.C. I wish we could've had a trip to Florida while you were there, it looks like it would've been so fun.
What a fun week you had! Some day we'll be able to go to Disneyworld! But we'll be in Washington D.C. the first few days of August so we'll definitely have to meet up.
