Kaden's teacher sends a folder home in his backpack every day. She always color codes the days to let us know how his behavior was for that day. Green marks are for the best behavior. If Kaden gets a whole week of green marks then I take him out for ice cream on Wednesdays after I pick him up from school. Usually we end up at Mc Donald's or Dairy Queen. Today we tried out a new place called Wise's Drug Store and Soda Fountain. It is an old store located in downtown Gainesville. It had a fun atmosphere. The people who work there know most of their customers by name. They were also very kind to us. On the way home we drove by Biven's Arm Nature Park. I have always wanted to go there so we stopped and walked around a trail.

We are always so jealous when we check out your blog because you have so many fun things going on. We also can't believe how grown up your kids are looking.
I love places like that. It reminds me of some places I went to when I was a child. How was the icecream?
I thought places like that were only found in cities like Kanab :)

It look so fun. Tell Kaden way to go for getting green all week. Luke's teacher in Vegas gave green/yellow/red notes each day about behavior, however I think she was pretty generous because Luke made a very big deal about the day one boy actually got a yellow note! It was because he brought matches to school. So other than burning down the school it was all green notes.
Ok the picture with them sitting at the diner is a classic!!! I love it so much!! That is one that could win the photo contest..
