A day on the farm

Kaden was out of school today so we decided to visit the Morningside Nature Center's Living Farm. The kids loved seeing the animals and even got to help feed the cow. I was surprised at Kaden's reaction. Even though he enjoyed visiting the farm he was annoyed with how loud the cow was. He also thought the old farm house was small. He said he wouldn't want to live there because everyone would have to sleep in the same room. He said that if there was a baby it would keep him up all night along with that annoying loud cow. Kaylee on the other hand was all ready to move in. She thinks it would be great to live on a farm. On the way home I told the kids about another farm I would like to take them to before we move this summer. Kaden said, "I'll go as long as there aren't any cows." So now I know Kaden is not meant to be a farmer. :)

What fun adventures you guys are always having. If Kaylee is interested I know a farm where her help would always be welcome! My boys both love the farm and all the animals. Even over Christmas break when it was freezing outside Noah insisted on going outside with my dad to feed the cows. It it so funny what kids think. Kaden and Kaylee are so cute!
