Summer Vacation Part II- Thanksgiving Point Gardens

My mom took us to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens.  This was our first time
visiting them and we LOVED it!! It is such a beautiful and relaxing place to go.
I highly recommend it.

It is huge, you could spend hours walking around it.  We rented a
golf cart.  The kids loved riding in it.  Grandma even let them
take turns driving it under her supervision.

The Rose Festival started the day after we visited.  The roses were in full bloom, it was
so beautiful.  One day we want to go during the Tulip Festival.

There were lots and lots of coy fish.  Every time we threw food in the water
they jumped all over each other trying to get some.

There was a Jesus statue garden area.

They had some man-made waterfalls.

Thanksgiving Point is huge.  They have shops, the gardens, movie theatres, and restaurants.
We have always loved their old fashioned ice cream parlor.  After the gardens we stopped
here for some lunch and ice cream cones.

It was a fun day.  Thanks for taking us, Mom!!
