| Kaden worked hard over the summer and earned his Bear award in cub scouts. He received his award at the last pack meeting. Geoff had to pretend to be a bear in the tent. Kaden had to be brave and go into the tent to fight and defeat the bear. In the end Kaden defeated the bear and received a bag of beef jerky or bear meat. |

| Earlier this week I had the opportunity to help chaperone one of Kaden's cub scout field trips. We went to the Police Station. The kids got to sit in a juvenile jail cell, climb inside of a S.W.A.T. vehicle, and watch a police officer shoot a machine gun. I cannot think of a cooler field trip for nine year old boys, they all loved it! |

Geoff had to pretend to be a bear?!?! That is funny. Congrats Kaden. That's a big accomplishment.
Good job Kaden!! Geoff would make a really good bear...or pharmacist...Adam said he would get that.

Oh how fun!! Riley just earned his Wolf, so now he is excited to be a Bear.
Got to love scouts! There really is a lot of work to do to earn your awards, so good job Kaden.
