The other day when we were leaving the grocery store Kaylee saw an auto magazine on the way out. She got really excited and asked me if she could take one. She said, "Dad loves these magazines!" When we got home she ran and hid the magazine in her room. The next day she asked me if I would help her wrap the magazine. She wanted to use the sports wrapping paper because she said Geoff likes sports. Then she had to pick the perfect bow. She also made a card that said, "I love you." She placed the gift on Geoff's dinner plate and then brought a little chair upstairs from the toy room. She sat on her chair and stared out of the window for the next twenty minutes waiting for Geoff to come home. It was so sweet. This was one of the first times I have seen Kaylee put a lot of thought into doing something nice for someone without being prompted.

That is so adorable! When we are at the store and my kids see something, it's like, "I want this!" How cute that she was thinking of her Daddy. I bet Geoff loved it.
That is so sweet! I love that she waited at the window for Geoff to come home. What a thoughtful daughter!
That is so cute! You can tell she has some wonderful parents.
That is totally precious. You can tell someone has been teaching her right!
How fun. What was Geoff's response?
Lisa,
Geoff loved it!
Kaylee is a hoot. We sure do miss her. Does she still growl at women in the grocery store?
That is so sweet. I love seeing things like that. Everytime we go to the grocery store, Lauren wants to get trav pickles, he loves them. It makes me chuckle.
Your kids are amazing. It must be because they have an amazing mother. I love your birthday bash too, it turned out great.
