I thought it would be fun to have a princess tea party for Kaylee. I invited our friend's daughter Marlie to join us. We had the tea party under a gazebo in our apartment complex. I started out the party by giving each of the girls a make-up kit. I helped them paint their fingernails and put on their make-up. They had fun putting the sticker jewelry all over their faces. Then I served them lunch. We had flower sandwiches, heart shaped watermelon, grapes, chips, marshmallows, sugar cookie pops, and pink lemonade. They thought it was fun pouring their own lemonade from the tea pot. They would pour a little at a time so they could keep getting more. After our lunch we made necklaces and princess bear decorations for their bedrooms. My camera battery died so I wasn't able to get pictures of the crafts. Kaden stayed at our friend's house while we took Marlie. My friend ordered pizza for the boys and let them play video games. When I told Kaylee to tell Kaden about our tea party the first thing she told him about was how there was dog poop at the bottom of the hill. I can only hope that wasn't really the highlight of the tea party!

Very cute! I love it!
Jadi- You are amazing!! You are the best mom!! I hope when I'm a mom, I'm half as fun as you. Thanks for the inspiration.
Jadi, You are such a wonderful mother. Your little family is so fun to read about!
I really do marvel at the time, love, and energy you put into making your kids happy and giving them opportunities for learning and fun. I think being a mother is your call in life! I am reminded of Elder Ballards talk when I think of the kind of mother you are. I am sure your kids will forever be thankful that they have you as their mother. Everyone comments that you are a wonderful mother and that you give them inspiration, I believe that is really true. There is a reason your kids are always looking so happy and seem to love each other so much. You are a great example to them. Keep it up.
Dear Uncle Geoff, Aunt Jadi, Kaden, and Kaylee, thank you for the birthday card and money. I miss you. Love, luke
That is sooo cute. We must have been on the same wavelength with the princess theme. Our party was slightly modified because Abby really wanted one of her boy friends to come. :o) It all worked out though!
That is so precious. What a fun party.
