Kaden's class has been preparing for "Donuts with Dad day" for a week. They made place mats, paper ties, practiced two songs to sing and wrote letters about why their dads were special. Even though it was a hard time for Geoff to go he figured out how to make it work into his schedule. Thank you Geoff! You are a great Dad. When Geoff got home he told me about his visit to Kaden's class. He said that Kaden ate three donuts. He also said that most of the kids wrote "Dad" on their ties and decorated them with hearts or patterns. The tie Kaden made for Geoff had a war scene on it. When the class got up to sing their songs the teacher said, "One of these songs is about chickens because we have random discussions in our classroom about chickens." Then Mr. Jake, a classroom helper said, "I am pretty sure Kaden is the one who started that." It was no surprise to us. Kaden has a fascination with chickens. We got a good laugh from that.

Kaden is hilarious. My brother also has a fascination with chickens. We always thought it was just him. It's great to know that he is not alone.
That is maybe the most hilarious tie I have ever seen. I love how the soldiers are falling from their planes and drowning in the water below. Nice. Kaden and Cameron would get along great.
