Since we were not able to go sledding this year during the holiday break we had to come up with a different activity. After checking the weather report and finding out it was suppose to be 82 degrees on Friday we decided to take a day trip to check out Clearwater Beach. After our 3 hour drive we arrived in Clearwater to discover it was the Outback Bowl weekend. Needless to say it was packed. We drove around for about a hour trying to find a parking space. Lucky for us the parking space we got was close to the beach and Pier 60. We had a blast hanging out at the beach with our friends. We also stayed for the nightly festival at the Pier to celebrate the sunset. They had artisans, performers, and music. Kaylee loved the monkey. We had ice cream on the pier and watched the sunset. It was so beautiful. We were also able to watch as a sand sculpture was being created. It is a beautiful place to visit if any of you ever get the chance.

That looks so fun! I would love to come be warm!! You guys are so cute.
How fun! I miss the beach so much! I loved growing up around it. Have great memories and I'm sure your kids will too!
What a fun way to spend your Christmas break. I could go for some sun and surf about now. I am glad that we are here in the snow, and I send my boys out in it everyday because when we get back to Vegas they won't have any to play in! They love it, but instead of calling it "snow", Noah always calls it "snowman". Who knows where he comes up with things.
I love looking at your blog. You guys are such a fun family. I am jealous you got to go to the beach. I miss it so much!!
You guys do way funner stuff than we do. OH, and Geoff has nice legs...he should sport the purple Jazz shorts to show them off more.
So pretty. Looks like fun. I'm wishing for warmer weather soon.
I love your new blog! How did you do your background? I love that!! We got our flight plans, and we are excited to come see you!!
